This photo was shot on a visit to Washington DC in August 2011. The Vietnam Memorial is something everyone should see. It is a simple wall of black granite with the names of all those killed in action during the war. It brought tears to my eyes when I found the certficate that accompanied the award of the Silver Star to Lance Corporal Edward Wolfendale at the base of the wall held in place by a small American Flag. Some gave all.
